BRD Studio was founded in 2019 to combine the highest standard of architecture and construction under one banner. Our vision is to provide innovative, sustainable and regenerative built environments to regional citizens across Australia.

Our strong connection to the regions and deep respect for its environments and communities allows us to work collaboratively with our clients and local trades to provide the best possible results.

Tim Smith / Director

Tim is a registered architect and builder in both VIC and NSW with a deep passion for his home on the border.

He began his career in high school as a laborer in residential construction before attending the University of Newcastle to complete a Bachelor of Design (Architecture). Returning home to continue his trade, Tim achieved a Cert IV in Building and Construction in 2013. He went on to complete the Master of Architecture at the University of NSW while working at a high-end residential architecture workshop. After several years away, Tim returned home to establish his own business, BRD Studio.

Away from the studio and worksite, Tim cultivates his sprawling veggie garden and is involved with various local community organisations.
